Miss UPRA Pageant

Hi Everyone:
My name is Linda Chase and I have the honor of being the Miss UPRA Queen Director. This year will make my 5th year as the Director. The UPRA Board are a wonderful group of people who not just love the Sport of Rodeo, but are always looking for was to improve each event and the association as a whole.
So much progress has been made in the contest. Last year was the second year for the Miss UPRA Scholarship Foundation. We awarded $1500.00 in scholarship money to the Queen and her court. When we totaled up the awards and gifts that were given we gave out close to $8000.00 in all. No one left emptied handed. We were honored to give a NEW AWARD and that was the Sportmanship Award. This is given in honor of Bruce Emorys parents and is sponsored by the Emory's. I am already working on this years contest and anyone interested in giving to the Scholarship Foundation, or becoming a Miss UPRA Sponsor feel free to contact me.
