Ω Next Up, last of the winter rodeos, J & J Rodeo Company at the Austin Arena in Myrtle Springs, Texas March 20, entries open Monday, March 15, 2PM to 10PM at 903-346-3972. Performance time is 1:00PM at this event!

Ω Texas Senate Bill 2505 requires a minor (Under the age of 18) to wear a bull riding helmet and a protective vest while participating in bull riding. Contestant assumes all responsibility to comply with state law.

Ω The Texas Rodeo Cowboy Hall Of Fame has announced its 2010 Inductees which includes Mr. Jerald Smith, Wing Rodeo Company, Bogata, Texas. The induction will be April 9, 10, 2010, Bell County Expo Center, Belton, Texas. More information can be found at www.trchf.com. I can’t think of a more deserving person than Jerald Smith, congratulations to the entire Smith Family, from all of the people that have had the pleasure of working, meeting, or just visiting with Mr. Jerald, we say thank you for all you do and have done for the sport of rodeo. A honor truly earned and deserved.  

 
 Ω The UPRA sanctioned events are; BareBack Riding, Tie Down Roping, Ladies Breakaway Roping, Saddle Bronc Riding, Team Roping, Steer Wrestling, Ladies Barrel Racing, Ranch Bronc Riding and Bull Riding, along with Novice BareBack, Novice Saddle Bronc, and Novice Bull Riding.
